What does a small guide site actually need to store on a visitor’s device? Not much, and not the advertising trackers that fund most of the web. This site sets no advertising cookies, runs no cross-site tracking pixels, and does not share any device identifier with an ad network or with PHPVIP, the operator this site writes about.

Two categories of storage exist here, and both are narrow. The first is whatever is strictly needed to serve pages correctly and keep the site functioning, such as a short-lived technical cookie some hosting platforms set automatically. The second is anonymous, aggregate analytics: a count of page views used to understand which guides get read, with no personal identifier attached and no profile built across visits. Neither category is used to target ads at you, here or anywhere else.

Browsers themselves enforce this separation by default, which is one reason a small guide site does not need to build additional privacy protections on top of it. A cookie set here simply is not visible to a script running on a different domain, regardless of what either site intends.

Clearing what this site has stored is a normal browser-settings task, not a special request you need to send anyone. In Chrome, that is Settings, then Privacy and security, then Clear browsing data, where you can select cookies and site data for a specific time range. Firefox and Edge use the same wording under their own Privacy settings menus, and Safari on iPhone or iPad keeps the equivalent option under Settings, then Safari, then Clear History and Website Data.
