Live Baccarat: How Long a Round Lasts, the Commission Rules and the Lightning Fee
By PHPVIP Editorial Team
- Written for readers 21 and overIn the Philippines nobody under 21 may gamble, so every page here is written for readers past that birthday, whatever another sign-up form accepts.
- Every button leads to 76JLOur buttons all carry a single referral link, and that link opens 76JL; not one of them leads into a PHPVIP lobby.
- Facts held to public listsStatements about licences, wallets and age limits are compared with PAGCOR lists and BSP circulars before they are printed.
You opened a live table and the lobby shows four baccarat names that all look alike. Baccarat itself is simple: you bet on which hand, Player or Banker, will total closer to nine, or on a tie. The differences are in the pace, the commission and the extra fees, and Evolution’s own pages describe them. The figures below come from those pages as archived in 2026.
Before you go: pick the variant first and the stake second.
Baccarat Variants and Round Times
You can sort the four names by what each changes. Evolution’s descriptions give these details.
- Standard. A round lasts 48 seconds, which leaves time to think between bets.
- Speed. A round is done in 27 seconds, and the cards are dealt face-up.
- Squeeze and Control Squeeze. These are named variants on Evolution’s page, and the archived text read here does not detail their rules.
- No Commission and Lightning. These change the payout rules, covered in the next two sections.
None of the archived pages printed an RTP, so there is no return figure to quote for any variant.
Before you go: if you want to learn the game, begin at a standard table.
No Commission: What Changes for Banker
You may have heard that a Banker bet carries a 5% charge. In No Commission baccarat that charge is removed, and the rule changes only on a Banker win that totals 6. Then the payout is half the original bet, a 0.5:1 return.
| Rule | Standard | No Commission |
|---|---|---|
| Banker win | 5% commission on the win | No commission, except below |
| Banker wins on 6 | Paid as usual after commission | Paid 0.5:1 |
The Super 6 side bet is listed with a 15:1 payout. A side bet adds a second wager to every round, so decide in advance whether you want it.
Before you go: read the Banker 6 rule on the table screen before the first bet.
Lightning Baccarat: The Fee and the Multipliers
You pay for the multipliers up front. At a Lightning table, each player’s total bet carries an added 20% Lightning Fee. In return, between one and five Lightning Cards in a round can each be given one of five multipliers: 8x, 5x, 4x, 3x or 2x.
If you plan to stake ₱100, the fee makes the real amount at risk ₱120. A multiplier raises a win but never reduces the fee, so a quiet run of rounds costs more than the same run at a standard table. The Dragon Tiger two-card game page shows a two-card alternative, and the Evolution’s own descriptions page lists the studio’s other descriptions.
Before you go: include the fee in your loss limit, not just in your bet.
Where to Find These Tables
The lobby’s footer shows logos for Evolution Gaming, SA Gaming, WM Casino and Sexy among its studios, and the live tab after sign-in is where you see which of them actually runs a baccarat table for your account. You reach that tab after you log in, or after account registration if you have no account yet. The live casino tables show the other table types, and the roulette variants page covers the next most popular. Players must be 21 or older.
Before you go: if the table stakes feel high, leave the table, not the limit.
How to Get Started
-
Choose the variant by pace
Pick standard for time to think, Speed for quick rounds, and watch two rounds of either before betting.
-
Find the commission rule
See whether the table charges 5% on Banker wins or uses No Commission, where a Banker 6 pays half.
-
Count the Lightning fee
If the table is Lightning, add 20% to your intended bet before you decide the stake.
