Maya and Casino Top-Ups: What the 2025 Notice Changed
By PHPVIP Editorial Team
- Written for readers 21 and overIn the Philippines nobody under 21 may gamble, so every page here is written for readers past that birthday, whatever another sign-up form accepts.
- Every button leads to 76JLOur buttons all carry a single referral link, and that link opens 76JL; not one of them leads into a PHPVIP lobby.
- Facts held to public listsStatements about licences, wallets and age limits are compared with PAGCOR lists and BSP circulars before they are printed.
If you searched for Maya, you are probably holding a Maya wallet and wondering whether it still reaches a casino. The answer has a date in the middle of it. Maya’s support page says Lucky Games has been unavailable from 16 August 2025, while the PHPVIP lobby still names PayMaya in a deposit announcement. Below, the two statements sit next to each other.
Maya: Lobby Wording Against Maya’s Own Notice
You may feel those two facts cannot both stand. They can, because they describe different doors.
- The lobby. On 5 November 2026 the signed-out pages carried a tab about depositing with PayMaya and a PayMaya card on the promotions page. Neither shows steps, limits or a minimum.
- The notice. Maya’s support article says the games feature is off, following the BSP instruction about links to online gambling sites, and sends players to the provider’s own website or app.
- Putting them together. A payment that starts from the lobby’s cashier is one thing; a payment that starts from a games tile inside Maya is another, and that tile is gone.
Maya at the Lobby: The Part Only the Cashier Shows
The live route, if any, appears only in the signed-in cashier, because the signed-out pages show no steps, limits or minimums for PayMaya.
Before you go: begin on the lobby’s cashier every time, and never from a link a stranger sends you.
Maya Limits Before You Move Money
Your next worry is probably how much the wallet will hold. I read Maya’s account-limits page on 30 October 2026; it sets a monthly wallet-balance limit for each account type and says the amounts are subject to change.
Basic accounts sit at PHP 50K and Upgraded ones at PHP 100K. Super Users reach PHP 500K, and Ultimate Users PHP 5M. Sending a bank transfer by InstaPay is not available on Basic, and each transfer that succeeds to another local bank costs PHP 10.
For loading the wallet, each top-up from a linked bank account can be at most PHP 20,000. Maya will move as little as PHP 100.00 or as much as PHP 300,000.00 by PESONet in one go, under a PHP 1,000,000.00 daily roof.
Before you go: open Account Limits in the app today, because a figure you read last month may have moved.
Upgrading Maya Before You Pay
Upgrading is optional, and Maya says it is free and takes a few minutes. Here is the path it describes.
- Open your profile and choose Upgrade Your Account.
- Type your complete name and birth date the way your National ID prints them.
- Record the video selfie; if the selfie does not pass, type the National ID number or use another primary ID.
- Wait for the SMS; Maya says it arrives within 24 hours of approval.
Maya states that it never asks for passwords, OTPs or full 16-digit card numbers, and that upgrading is free. If a message wants any of those, it was not sent by Maya, and the InstaPay bank route is the quieter fallback when the wallet is not the right tool.
Before you go: keep the ID and the selfie step for a quiet moment, since rushing it is how a name typo creeps in.
Maya Casino Searches: A Name to Handle Carefully
You will see pages that promise a Maya casino with a special prize. Maya publishes no casino directory, so the wording is borrowed traffic. Compare any such claim with the GCash and Maya status summary and with the signed-in cashier, then ignore the rest.
Before you go: if the offer arrives in a private message, close the message.
How to Get Started
-
Treat the Maya app's games door as closed
Maya's notice sends players back to the gaming provider's website or app, so skip any instruction to look for a games tile inside Maya.
-
Find Maya or PayMaya in the cashier
Sign in, press DEPOSIT, and see if a Maya or PayMaya route shows up for your account today.
-
Set your amount against your Maya tier
In the Maya app, go to Account Limits and compare the figure with the monthly limit for your type.
